Here you will find some helpful tips and answers to common questions people ask when using the EASy application.

General

I am having trouble logging in to EASy!

Common issues can prevent you from logging in to the EASy system:

Your user account will not be activated until your application has been accepted by your association's Endorsement Coordinator. Once accepted, you will receive an email with your login credentials from the EASy server.
Please note! EASy requires your browser to accept cookies from this server in order to ensure secure connections while accessing your personal data. If you are having issues logging in, please verify that your browser is accepting cookies from this server.
Make sure that you are logging in to the correct “instance” of EASy- meaning that the drop-down tab at the top of the page is set to the state/country in which you are getting endorsed (where you reside).
Remember that your login is your full email address- (the one that your registered with). You can reset your password on the home page if you don’t remember it.
Reach out to your Endorsement Coordinator if you continue to have difficulties logging in.

Who can apply for Endorsement?

The Endorsement credential is intended for everyone who applies IECMH principles in their work across the full continuum of promotion, prevention/early intervention, clinical intervention/treatment, and macro scopes of practice. This includes any professional who has experience working with or on behalf of pregnant people, infants, young children, parents, and/or other caregivers.

What are the steps to earning Endorsement?

Identify your scope of work and align that with the category of Endorsement that fits best

Complete the online Endorsement Application (EASy)

Mental Health Mentor applicants, successfully complete the written exam

Once endorsed, begin using the IMH-E® or ECMH-E® credential after your name

Complete renewal to maintain your Endorsement

I want to register to earn Endorsement but I don't know what the next steps are. Help!

Active IMH association membership is typically required, and you will enter the membership expiration date in EASy.

Use a personal email address if possible and remember to check your junk mail for EASy communications.

In most instances, uploading a resume is optional. You will have the opportunity to add it to your application after registration as well, if desired.

If you are unsure which Endorsement category best fits your scope of practice, reach out to the Endorsement Coordinator. The category can be changed by the Endorsement Coordinator after you register, if needed.

Supervision

What is reflective supervision/consultation?

RSC is distinct due to the shared exploration of the parallel process. That is, attention to all of the relationships is important, including the ones between practitioner and supervisor, between practitioner and parent, and between parent and infant/toddler. It is critical to understand how each of these relationships affects the others. Of additional importance, reflective supervision/consultation relates to professional and personal development within one’s discipline by attending to the emotional content of the work and how reactions to the content affect the work. Finally, there is often greater emphasis on the supervisor/consultant’s ability to listen and wait, allowing the supervisee to discover solutions, concepts and perceptions on his/her own without interruption from the supervisor/consultant.

Right	Description
Right to be Informed	To be informed about how your data is processed (this Policy serves this purpose).
Right of Access	To request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to Rectification	To request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete data we hold about you.
Right to Erasure (The "Right to be Forgotten")	To request the deletion of your personal data when there is no compelling reason for its continued processing.
Right to Restriction of Processing	To request that we limit the use of your data under certain circumstances (e.g., if you contest the data’s accuracy).
Right to Data Portability	To receive your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to transfer it to another controller.
Right to Object	To object to processing based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing purposes.
Right to Withdraw Consent	To withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

Requirement	Purpose
Full Name	To match the request to the data subject.
Email Address(es)	The email address(es) associated with your EASy account or use of the Site.
Country of Residence	To determine the relevant legal framework (e.g., GDPR).
Specific Right Requested	Clearly state which right you are exercising (Access, Erasure, Rectification, Portability, Restriction, or Objection).
Detailed Description	A precise description of the data you are requesting, or the reason for your request (e.g., "I wish to receive all personal data processed in the last 12 months," or "Please correct my street address from X to Y").
